Detroit Become Human is yet another marvel coming from Quantic Dream. The studio previously released Beyond: Two Souls and Heavy Rain. All their games focus on great storytelling and exciting gameplay.
Their upcoming title, Detroit Become Human, reveals the story of Kara, an advanced android that became self away. Everything is set in a distant future and like with their other games, and the story is the main selling point. With multiple endings and stunning graphics, the game will surely impress the ones that love neo-noir story driven games.
9. Mirror’s Edge Catalyst
Mirror’s Edge Catalyst continues the story of the original game that was released several years ago. Not much has changed which can be a good thing. We have the same intense gameplay with a somewhat free-roaming experience over the skyscrapers of a futuristic city.
The game has been received with rather positives on 2017 reviews. It features stunning graphics and excellent gameplay. Sadly the story is not that impressive, but the game is still quite fun especially for the ones that played the original.
8. Far Cry Primal
Far Cry Primal is nothing like the previous games. It still offers the same experience but in a completely different setting. This time around the player is thrown in the middle of an ancient world dominated by prehistoric animals that can be tamed.
The game is still an FPS, but the weapons and gameplay are quite different. As for the story, nothing too stellar about it but what recommends Far Cry Primal the most is the gameplay.
7. Star Wars: Battlefront
The price of Star Wars: Battlefront was dropped a lot making it actually worth purchasing. When it was released, the game has been quite disappointing due to its lacking story mode and annoying bugs.
Most of the technical problems of the game have been fixed. It is now an enjoyable tile that is recommended mostly for the ones that enjoy multiplayer shooters. The graphics are phenomenal and now that the price has been lowered, Star Wars: Battlefront is indeed a steal deal.
6. Mortal Kombat XL
There are very few other games that are as fun as Mortal Kombat. Mortal Kombat XL is the latest game released for the PS4, and it is surprisingly good. It will provide countless hours of hot seat fun with friends or family.
Just like the previous games, Mortal Kombat XL includes a wide selection of playable characters and several new ones. The mechanics are pretty much the same, but the graphics received a significant boost.

5. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has been surrounded by a lot of drama inside Konami. However, the end product has been received with positive reviews due to its creativity, decent story, amazing graphics and interesting and fun mechanics.
The game offers an open-world design that enables ultimate freedom. Game progression works flawlessly even if the player has so much freedom.
4. Dark Souls III

In terms of game mechanics, Doom is a fairly simple game yet rewarding at the same time. The violent combos and finishing moves add a certain satisfaction that makes shooting bullets less of a focal point.
